Operations & development

Support for your application. Beyond launch.

I take care of deployment, updates, troubleshooting and continued development. Together, we agree the support your application needs in everyday use.

Where is technical support needed?

  • Your application is used daily, but responsibility for updates and faults is unclear.
  • Changes should be prepared and tested before reaching the live system.
  • Your requirements are changing and the existing application needs to develop with them.

Support that fits the application.

Support with a clear scope.

Suitable support depends on your application and how it is used. I first review its technical condition. Together, we then agree tasks, support hours and responsibilities.

01

Operate Overwrite54 solutions

I support applications developed by Overwrite54 after launch. This can include hosting, technical monitoring, updates and backups. We agree in advance which tasks I take on.

02

Extend supported applications

New features, fixes and technical improvements are planned, tested and released as agreed. Larger modernisation projects or system changes begin with a technical assessment.

03

Take over existing software

I can take over selected third-party software used by non-IT businesses after reviewing code, rights and system condition. Data and system migration follow a technical assessment; they go beyond data import and may involve dependencies, cutover, testing and rollback planning.

Concept example

A customer portal update. Planned, not improvised.

A company shares documents through a customer portal. A technical component needs an update. Before making the change, the affected features are identified. Sign-in, document access and notifications are checked in a test environment. The release is coordinated so the business can prepare for it.

  1. 01

    Prepare the update

Affected features, backups and a possible rollback are clarified before the change.

  2. 02

    Check the portal

Sign-in, document access and notifications are tested with the update. Open issues are discussed before approval.

  3. 03

    Release as agreed

The update is applied at the agreed time, followed by the planned functional checks.

Working together

How support for your application is organised.

The process depends on your application’s condition and its role in daily work. We agree the scope, responsibilities and how changes will be coordinated before support begins.

  1. 01

    Review the starting point

I review technology, access, rights and available documentation. Together, we identify important business functions and areas needing attention.

  2. 02

    Agree support

We define my tasks, how you report problems and when changes can take place. Support hours and response arrangements are recorded within the agreed scope.

  3. 03

    Implement changes

I carry out agreed updates, fixes and extensions with suitable checks. We coordinate impacts and required approvals before release.

  4. 04

    Review further needs

Changes and important operational information are documented within the agreed scope. We discuss outstanding issues and useful next steps as agreed.

Good to know

Questions about operations

What support includes and what needs clarification before a takeover.

What determines the effort?

To estimate the work, I review the application and the support you need. The main factors include:

  • Condition and number of components
  • Available documentation and access
  • Changes and security updates required
  • Desired support framework
  • Agreed backup and restoration services
Can you take over an application built by someone else?

I can take over selected existing applications after a technical assessment. Access, rights, documentation and system condition must be clarified first. We then agree what support is appropriate and feasible.

Who is the takeover service intended for?

Businesses that use the application in their own operations and whose core business is not software development. It is not an outsourced development or support department for other software companies.

Do you offer 24/7 on-call support?

The offer does not include blanket 24/7 availability or an uptime guarantee. We agree support hours and how problems are reported and handled in advance.

Are backups always included?

Backup, restoration and recurring tests need clear responsibilities and an expressly agreed scope.

Which tasks does technical support cover?

I agree the scope of monitoring, backups, restore tests and release management for ongoing support. Support hours, reporting and response channels, and responsibilities are explicitly defined. There is no blanket 24/7 on-call service or availability guarantee. Operations cover software; hardware, electrical and cabling work are outside the offer.

Your application

What support does your application need?

Tell me which application you use and where you need help. Together, we clarify what information is needed for an initial assessment and what a useful starting point could look like.
